When this auto repair shop came up with an interesting idea, we jumped at the chance to develop this easy to use, yet complex software package. Austin’s Choice Auto wanted to create a system called “Auto Web Proof” wherein customers can visit the web site and login using their customer number. Once they are logged in, they can view detailed descriptions and photos of the needed repairs on their vehicle.
In a world were so many are worried that mechanics are billing for work that is either not needed or never gets done, Austin’s Choice Auto proves to their clients exactly what is needed and what has been done. This system is extremely easy to use, both for the web site administrators (employees at Austin’s Choice Auto) and for the customers visiting the site.
Notice they simply provide the customer number and name and click “Create New Customer”. The screen that follows allows them to add description and photos to the site easier than sending an email. The other administration function of this site is the “Manage Coupons” button. As you can imagine, this function allows Austin’s Choice Auto to easily create and manage all their online coupons. The coupon page even has a print button that allows visitors to print directly from the website. As I am sure you can understand, auto repair shops are not the most internet savvy establishments. This particular shop had an idea and we implemented it in a fashion that allowed them to operate their site without a computer science degree.
